Introduction to OERs

Page history last edited by Anna Gruszczynska 13 years, 6 months ago

This page provides a brief overview of issues relevant to Open Educational Resources, together with materials we used/put together during the pilot phase of the OER project.

Feel free to keep adding any resources which you think might be useful for colleagues on the phase II project. If you are looking for a very brief introduction to the JISC/HEA OER initiatives or OERs globally, you could start with the following two presentations we put together for the C-SAP e-learning forum in July 2010 (for more information about that event see here). JISC OER InfoKit is also a good place to start, together with very recently published evaluation and synthesis report from the pilot project. There are also some self-paced tutorials available on OER-related issues which we have bookmarked on bibsonomy, you can access them here. We have also put together a leaflet with some basic information on OERs in preparation for the partner meeting on 20th October, you can access the leaflet either from the project resources page or from our slideshare account. Finally, we have also started a page pulling together resources on repurposing OERs.
